Emma Inspired Make-up Guides: Back to School/Work Make-Up Inspired by Emma’s recent appearance in Uruguay for UN. Here is a fresh-faces, yet still pretty make-up, perfect for school and/or work, that you can recreate with just 5 products that you already have in your makeup bag!
What do you need: - foundation. - concealer. - mascara. - black/brown eyeliner.- pink blush. You can also use a face primer, powder and eyebrows products if you are used to include them in your make-up routine.
1. base
Especially for these kind of looks, you really want your skin to look nice and fresh. That’s why, even when I am not going to wear foundation, I always apply a moisturiser to give my skin a boost and start the day with the right foot.
After that, I usually apply my foundation, which is medium to high coverage. I like to use a buffing brush to give it a more natural look and to avoid looking cakey.
I then apply concealer under my eyes, around my nose and on any spot or blemish that I want to cover. cheap-ish products: Skin So Soft Fast Hydration Moisturising Gel - £2.95 // Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation - £6.88 // Physicians Formula Conceal Rx Physicians Strength Concealer - £4.17 2. eyes
For a more natural look, use a brown eye pencil to line your upper waterline and to add a thin line as close as you can to your lashes on the upper lid.
Apply your favourite mascara on the top & bottom lashes.cheap-ish products: NYX Collection Chocolate Matte Brown Eyeliner - £3.59 // SEPHORA COLLECTION Le Waterproof Mascara - £4.20 3. cheeks Apply your favourite blush to add a touch of colour to your cheeks.cheap-ish products: Boots No7 Natural Blush Cream - £5.99 // CLINIQUE Soft-Pressed Powder Blusher - £12.60 I hope this new kind of post was helpful to some of you.
